Question (That isn't frequently asked)

Does anyone else who is a therian feel the connection to their theriotype one day, and the next day not feel it at all, only to have it pop up a little later (in the course of days, weeks, or months)? I've been having that problem and I'm not sure if it means that I am really not a wolf therian. I have wolf behaviors as well as phantom limbs & I have heard that totems can cause things like this. But I'm sure my connection is therianthropic & not totemic. Does anyone have any ideas about why this is happening to me? I've had 3-year old kids call me "puppy" while I was feeling my phantom limbs as well as when I believe that I was aural shifted that one time, if that helps

That's mental shifts. If your "connection" stayed constant, it wouldn't be a "shift".

It's normal.

Thank you! I was getting kind of worried and thinking that I had been having delusions

It happens more often when you're sleep deprived, at least for me.

Heh. They probably are delusions, but then, so is color. Delusions aren't a bad thing when they represent something real and you understand the difference between the representation and what it represents.
