Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

If you bite people when they don't want to be bit because you're "tensed up", you have an anger problem.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

Yeah in general I wouldn't say making someone bleed once or twice is the hallmark of a laid back person.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

I don't know. I never stopped mine - maybe because I enjoyed them. They never got personal and it was sort of like going to a movie - except I was in it.

If it is frustration dreams, reducing your frustration should reduce the dreams. Try relaxation therapy or  meditation.

As a shaman, I've helped people get control of nightmares. Do you have any shamans around? If you have any psychologists/counselors that you trust, they may be able to help. Personally, I prefer gestalt psychology for dream work.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

You know, if something is bothering you, you aren't okay. You have a problem that needs to be solved, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you're crazy, or even sick. It may just mean you have a problem - like a stopped up toilet or a tax audit is a problem.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

I think your problem is mostly due to puberty.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

I think holding it back may potentially be dangerous. What do you think, WVZ?

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

Well, there's a difference between "holding back a shift" and "repressing the wereside". You don't want to be in the center of a shopping mall and go trotting on all fours down the midway, howling at the top of your lungs. So if that's going to happen, hold it back until you can let it out in safer surroundings. You want the wereside to be part of your life, but you don't want it to get you arrested.

My wereside was always pretty well adapted to public life so I didn't much worry about it but I've never held it in at all. It grew up with me. What you want is to allow the wereside as much exposure as possible without jeopardizing yourself. Balance is needed; integrity is ideal.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

You're going to have to tell me a lot more about your life situation than you have for me to answer that question - or you can figure it out yourself. How adapted is your wereside already? Do you have any people you can safely shift around? Are you urban or rural? Do you live in a family or alone? How old are you? What part of the world do you live in? etc. etc.

For balance, you figure out when and where you can manifest your wereside most safely. For integrity, you come too terms with your wereside and, that, I can't possibly tell you how to do, certainly not over the Internet.

Re: Am I a Werewolf/Therian?

Not really. And there's not much I can tell you without being there and part of things. I asked the questions to help you brainstorm. You're going to have to navigate the terrain yourself.
