Anyone willing to see and spoil Love Bite for us? It apparently has an on-screen depiction of werewolf sex (highlight to view), which may be a first for conventional (i.e. non-porn) films.

Hmm, now that I think about it, there was some of that in The Howling, wasn't there?

I wouldn't mind spoilers either. Quick question Werefan--where you learn that spoiler about the ending? And yes, I think the Howling did that first.

Poking around with Twitter's search engine. I haven't found any really spoilery summaries yet.

Here's a pretty "spoilery" one:

Not a lot of hints on the TF sequences (if there are any) though.

That is actually a pretty careful review; it doesn't have many more specifics than the studio's synopsis (which is on IMDB, among other places).
Here are a few more I've come across that don't reveal much about the second half:

From the twitter mentions and the ratings on IMDB so far (there are just 14) this seems to be a very polarizing film. All the professional critics hate it. Most of the mentions of the special effects have been positive, and the trailer has some snippets that look pretty good. Given the sex/horror mix that could mean a good second life for it on DVD.
(I guess this should really all be in the Love Bite trailer thread. I was trying to attract the attention of UK folks with a different subject line.)

A while back I exchanged messages with someone who'd seen the Toronto screening of the film.
She said that (highlight to view) Ed Speelers and Jessica Szohr's characters were werewolves at one point, and that Luke Pasqualino's character becomes a werewolf and transforms onscreen. I didn't inquire further since I didn't want to annoy her. I should also note that the "Extended Classification Information" for the film on the BBFC website (http://www.bbfc.co.uk/AFF295652/) says (highlight to view) "At the end of the film there is a shot of wolves in silhouette having sex and howling under the full moon."

You always have the best info. I've never thanked you for the site, so I will now.

Thank you in return for the kind words! Your remark about searching twitter prompted me to try as well. My results pretty much echoed yours (highlight to view):
These tweets (https://twitter.com/taylorhayes_/status … 1786704897 and https://twitter.com/AdamWalker_92/statu … 4671747073) reference "wolf sex." Additionally, this tweet (https://twitter.com/BasselMaleh/status/ … 5819420672) says "love bite ends with two wolves having anal sex." Since the film is a comedy, this might suggest the wolves are male. Yet, all of these just reference wolves, so perhaps werewolves aren't involved in the ending.
On the other hand, this tweet (https://twitter.com/abbishort/status/267026386085097473) says "We saw ware wolfs having sex."
In any case, all this detective work is maki9ng me look like a bit of a perv, so perhaps I'll stop there for now!

Here's a somewhat spoilery review:

still leaves the last act somewhat mysterious.

If there are no female werewolves, I do not see it. Already we see that it is a crap movie for horny gay guys.

Reviews don't get much more hostile than this:

And to the straight fetish boys: It's true that werewolves one of a tiny of areas of popular culture to feature men more than women, but things have been better for you in the past decade, what with Ginger Snaps and Cursed. And if you're into TF more broadly I don't have much sympathy.
In any case, let's all try to be more accommodating of the larger community. We give a lot of them the icks, and while our interests shouldn't really be relevant to them either way, needless icks are ... needless.

What do you mean Icks, dude?

I am convinced that there is a large portion of people passionate about these things, would want to see more female werewolves TFs. But at a certain level as the success of the actors, it is inevitable, there is too much corruption and you do what you want. However, about Ginger Snaps, could make more changes and done better, in the style of Being Human (UK). In general I do not like the transformations of Ginger Snaps - ah! Sorry! transformations? One transformation, it is a booger about the great work what as they could to do - but the actresses that they found, are very ugly.
Aaand no,
I'm not satisfied, because they have the technology to do better and did not come out great works in the public cinema, about I want mean, you go to fishing for short films. We Want More Female Werewolves in general but more Female Werewolves TFs.

Someone divulged further spoilers on the imdb fanboard: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2027154/boa … #206910154
Looks like the film will be a disappointment for both male and female TF fans.

"icks": plural of "ick". The heebee-jeebees. The howling fantods. The "oh lord, won't someone think of the children!"s.
The "I would prefer that no one had that particular interest or inclination"s.

"De gustibus non est disputandum", werefan.
P.S.
More F.W. TFs.

My, what a letdown. Guess that leaves us looking forward to the new Being Human (SyFy) season and the other Brit werewolf flick premiering in February...whatsit called again?
Why can't they get werewolf movies right?
Offline
You might be thinking of "Crying Wolf". Trailer was supposed to be out two weeks ago, and then last Sunday, but they're having technical issues (according to the Facebook page). There's an earlier thread about it.

Yes, that's it! Sigh...werewolf films always seem to be in some sort of production hell don't they? Cheers mate
