Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

Kristen Hager has worked little, this season. Why no transformation of her? We've all seen the new season, but this being a blog about werewolves, I will only talk about them and about the special effects on this fascinating creatures...

P.S.
This post is dedicated only to lovers of female werewolves, so if you are not among this category, please do not respond, thank you.  wink

Point 1: Beautiful transformation of Erin, in my opinion, I like it very much that sequence ...
it will enrich the film heritage on the changes regarding female werewolves, but I would like more effort ...
...I find that Kristen Hager, is too precious to bend to a full naked in werewolf transformation processing such as Sam Huntington...

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

Instead I would like something more on this topic, by Kristen Hager. It 'an actress paid to the tune of millions, she is rich and I'd like to see her act without hesitation the part that she have chosen and that has been assigned, without discounts, just as the colleague Sam ...

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

She has no problems to show themselves naked, and this season she proved even more ...
I wish she was good for her role as an actress and I would, given the equality of the sexes, which she tried a little more ...

Point 2: I'm sorry that this season is already over and that you have to wait another year to see something more, and nothing is guaranteed ...
As for the British series, I only say that I appreciate the special effects in the old way, but I can not stand the idea that there are always changes in male and even here, good or bad I think I understand the sexual orientation of the inventor of the series (Toby Withouse), but in my opinion, since that will appeal to a worldwide audience I wish he were not so biased.

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

In the British series, there are about 4 or 5 female werewolves, but only Nina shows us his counterpart. So, I have to ask Toby, what happened to any transformations in George Sands style, of female characters so important as: Amy McBride, Allison Larkin, Lady Catherine (the queen of werewolves!!!) and of Christa Stammers????

I asked myself some of these questions some years agowith other movies, series, etc. For the mainstream werewolf=male. You'll got to live with it buddy.

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

I think Syfy has a no-nudity policy or something, which is why you never see the naughty bits. (Compare the female werewolves in Sanctuary and The Dresden Files, or the she-dragon in Beyond Sherwood Forest). Speaking for myself, I'm not too bothered by this.

That aside, I do agree that there has been precious little transformation going on this season with regard to girl wolves. I reserve my judgment for the last episode, which I haven't seen yet and am about to download.

Which is why I'm looking forward to this autumn's TV adaptation of Kelley Armstrong's Bitten, about a female werewolf in Toronto. They better be faithful to the novel (in which the transformation process is portrayed as long-drawn and painful, AWIL style).

If they have Elena disappear in a puff of smoke or beam of light and come out as a wolf right in the next shot, I'm going to burn the studio down. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

There's just not enough girl wolves out there....

ps. In the meantime you might want to check out True Blood; they have a couple of girl werewolves, plus quite a few other shifters too, and they are a bit more liberal when it comes to the female anatomy.

Transformation is morph-type however, and practically all of them last only a few seconds at most.

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

I thought that overall this was a pretty good season for werewolves on BHUS.  Liam's wolf and transformation were pretty cool as well as the whole spiritual kinda yoga thing they did where Josh got to meet his inner wolf.  I also thought that Erin and Nora's transformation together in the woods was a great scene.

That being said, I guess I have to agree w/the whole idea that the mainstream werewolf will always be male. So for better or for worse thats just how it is.

Josh's season 3 finale super-wolf:

Kinda what we've come to expect from the SYFY special effect department but still pretty cool...

Re: Being Human (US) season 3 Kristen Hager has worked little?

Can someone give me a season 3 summary of Josh's story?
Is his "super wolf" form a gift or an even more dangerous curse?

This is kind of the cliffhanger actually.  All we know is that this time Josh was turned by a pure breed.  The pure breed was the werewolf brother and sister pair from season two's father.  Josh had to kill the father but before he died he offered guide Josh and told him that this time when he turned it would be different...

Before the full moon Josh had met this older werewolf who guided him on how to meet his inner wolf through meditation.  He seemed to be making progress and was more at peace with his inner wolf but there was no indication that he would remain a werewolf after the full moon or be much larger in werewolf form than before.

Will hopefully make for an interesting season 4!

This is from the meditation sessions I mentioned:

Kind of a wooded dreamscape style encounter.  The wolf is a bit cagey at first but they meet after a few sessions.

I told you in this post one should not speak about males werewolves and those who did not like the female gender to stand out from the boxes ... cool

smile we could talk about a month here, but so is flawless, true mrRW? I refer to mrRW, in particular, which has shifted the debate on Josh, when I was interested in Nora, oh well we are free, take a bit like gently caress you want ...

So here, if you do not talk about alpha male you are not happy ...

lol Ha, ha, ha, you're right buddy. smile I will make a right, but the fact remains that the male werewolves for me are boring and make me shite, they make me disgusted to say the least. wink

I will continue to raise awareness among fans of the genre to the female werewolves. tongue tongue
