Re: Full Moon Rituals

I used to go outside and run around naked.

But the other people in the apartment complex started complaining.....

I imagine that would happen Arclight unless you moved to a nudist colony.

Re: Full Moon Rituals

I'm apparently doing a bit of a ritual - I find myself going to the parks around here, finding an area that's on a hill, rimmed by trees, just in time to catch the sun setting, and I turn around and find the full moon rising behind me. Lovely stuff!

That's cool!

Re: Full Moon Rituals

A ritual that I always practice on the full moon usually involves a camera, long exposure and any number of places, one of the best is a graveyard.  Images of the dark, the night with the shadows of light. The winter is the best with the soft glow from both the moon and the reflecting snow.

I just stare at the Moon for hours. I shiver like hell as well for some reason. Even when the House is roasting.

Basically all I can manage is Just watching the moon. (Stupid fricking city life. And the only time I get to go out into the country I can't do anything either because I'm at my Grandma's house. >_<)

Re: Full Moon Rituals

I don't have any "rituals" in the sense of doing a ritual, however I do have a practise that one may interpret as a "ritual" according to the loosest definition of the word.

I have a necklace that is very precious to me - it was a gift. The pendant is a real silver bullet, .44 caliber. It is not loaded, but it would be fireable if it were loaded. I had a ring put on it so I can wear it as a necklace. I always wear it on the full moon.

Re: Full Moon Rituals

I have a 'ritual' I practice each full moon.

Each full moon, I charge my silver jewelry, and my medicine pouch (and the stones inside it) under the moon. I burn incense and allow myself to be 'free' as in a mental shift (Being a wolf therian). I also go outside and howl at the moon. I feel so wolfish under the moon.

Re: Full Moon Rituals

I like to howl at the moon, chill out in the forest and run around and play. Plus staying up really late to enjoy it
