The werewolves in this look extremely unnerving. I also read an interview with the director who said the wolves are somewhat like Ginger Snaps, where the transformation is permanent, but it actually takes a few years for them to completely turn into wolf form, so the big fleshy one on the train is a newer wolf.

Not the same movie buddy, you are referring to "Howl". This is a very different movie .
