WolfMontana - Since you are in Montana, the full moon must be impressive in the nightsky. In NYC, the clouds and smog cover the full moon's beauty.

Well actually, I'm on the east coast at the moment, to be with StrummerWolf. When I used to live in Yellowstone and Big Sky I would drive out to a small stretch just within the park border and stare at the sky. Now *that* was a religious experience. You could reach out and grab a handful of stars. And yeah, the full moon was so bright. I had no problem going for walks under it's light only. And when snow covered the ground - that was magical. I used to live in the dorms at Big Sky Ski Resort and my room faced Lone Mountain. Seeing that majestic (somewhat capped) peak under the full moon was breathtaking.
Aww man... I just struck that homesick cord again... gaah.

WolfMontana - Thanks for description. Its sound quite magical. A great setting for a very good werewolf movie or novel. Are you enjoying the East Coast?

I'm enjoying seeing the trees change Where I lived in Montana it was predominantly everygreens - lodgepole and white pine, spruces and the like. Where I am right now is waaaay too humid though
And it doesn't get a nearly cold enough or snowy enough winter!
I've been up to MA a couple of times and Maine, beautiful up there.
I just miss da mountains something fierce
Are you on the east or west coast? Middle?

Actually it snowed about a foot on June 13th in Big Sky Montana when I was there one year
They actually opened the ski season with lifts etc early to enjoy it
(they didn't keep it open of course, just for a couple of days
And Blue - you asked how long I'd been in Australia? about 18 years.
