I was fascinated by the monstrous, spinning, clanking, smoking contraption/ instrument, and I had the little 45 record with the yellow label. Also I scoured the world as a precocious youth for ridiculously long words. I believe "Calli --" beats out Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Of course, you can say it backwards, which is Docious-Ali-Expi-Istic-Fragi-Cali-Rupus, but that's going a bit to far, don't you think?
