More confirmation about the werewolf transformation, from one of the executive producers, in a LA Times online article:
Tyler will finally wolf out during the Dec. 9 episode. If you think the wait for new episodes will be torturous, the transformation period will be even more torturous for Tyler. “We’ll learn a lot about the mythology and the rules of the transformation over the next two episodes before we actually see it. “You’ll learn that while it gets a little bit easier the more you do it, the first time is not easy.†She adds that the show will not shy away from that painful process. “We wanted to show that in its entirety and really make the most of that because it’s a very, very difficult thing that Tyler is going have to go through and we wanted the audience to be able to experience it with him for the first time.â€

Well, the transformation finally occurred. It started off well, and Michael Trevino conveyed the pain, but it dwindled quickly toward the end. One or two nice morphs but not much more. Those who are still curious can see a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrzQxiuA9F4

considering i thought they'd just show some fangs, a few convulsions, and mostly just Trevino yelling in pain, i thought it was ok. coming from a show like tvd, and the end result just being a wolf, i didn't think those couple of morphs would even be there. so it's ok

I kept falling asleep so I'll have to rewatch it. I was too tired that night. darn

Didn't like it that much (thanks for the link btw). Way too drawn out, stupid arm cracking backwards for no reason (though hey, maybe you could say it was just first transformation spasms or something...). Cool fangs at the end there, but then the clip stopped before the full transformation?

Sadly, that was all there was. The show's budget seems to have been even smaller than I thought.

Anyone been watching this show? Seems to be getting more popular. Stories seem interesting. They now even have Vampire Diaries conventions.
